[ In Joshua Tree it’s really possible to make beautiful hikes. Among the best the one to Lost Palm (from Cottonwood Spring), the walk to Lost Horse Mine is also very rewarding.

The Kelso Dunes are also very high (600 feet) but much more easily reached compared to Eurekas. So if you do not have a 4x4 vehicule go for it. It’s steep but the view is so nice.

Rainbow Basin is a must see (its a mud canyon north from Barstow). We spent the new years eve there.

Dublin City is a duggout dwelling 200 yards from Shoshone downtown. We just like Shoshone, his Crow Bar and his museum.
