En 2006, nous sommes parti avec nos deux véhicules (Troll + Toy LJ73) avec une autre famille. L'objectif était d'atteindre le lac perdu de l'erg oriental, nous avons pris un guide berbère qui nous a dirigé vers le lac erreched. Nous sommes partis de Douz, ensuite Bir'haji Brahim puis Tembain. Nous nous sommes ensuite échapé de cette montagne par l'est. Grâce au guide nous vons franchi une porte qui n'existait pas selon le Ganduini. Nous avons poursuivis à travers les dunes, de plus en plus hautes. Nous avons bivouaqué et sommes arrivés à midi à Ereched, un des lacs caché de Tunisie. Le chemin pour s'y rendre était périlleux, les dunes les plus techniques et difficiles de la Tunisie(comme elles sont irrégulières on doit grimper puis redescendre et tourner rapidement pour trouver le passage). NOus avons quité le lac et avons croisé des Zurichois. Les dunes étaient aussi difficle sur le chemin jusqu'à El'MIda ou nous avons dormi.
Le dernier jour s'est relativement vite abrégée et nous avons dormis à Ksar Ghilane, de retour vers les touristes.
Il faut préciser que avec du sable mou on aurait mis 6 jours pour aller à Ereched au lieu de deux.
