Tunnel Creek

Tunnel Creek is located amongst the bounds of the Tunnel Creek National Park in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.

The cave is part of the Napier Range and was used as a hideout by the Aboriginal bushranger Jandamarra. It also features some traditional rock art.

The tunnel section of the creek is approximately 1 km and is dark throughout except for a section in the centre where light comes in. The rock the tunnel goes through is limestone, and is part of an ancient coral reef. Rock art can be seen near both entrances to the tunnel.
